This half-term Holly's indoor PE sessions is dance linked to fairy tales.
Outdoor PE is on a Friday, where children are working on their ball skills.
Homework

Reading:
Remember to read your book every day and record it in your reading diary.
Don't forget- if you record in your reading diary that you have read your colour-banded book 5 times or more, you can get a raffle ticket to be in with a chance to win a token for the reading vending machine!
Maths: (set 1 page)
This week I would like the children to revisit finding and estimating numbers on a number line from last week's lessons. Please complete page 9 and mark it using the answers in the book.

For this week’s homework, please complete page 45 and mark it using the answers in the book.
KS1 Spelling:
At the end of each half-term, you will come home with sounds, tricky words and decodable words that we have covered.
Year 2 & KS2 Spelling:
This week we looked at adding the suffix -y to some root words ending in e. We drop the e before adding -y. During the week, you recorded in your reading diary the words that you found particularly challenging. Practise spelling these words at home. Below is the entire list of words we have been working on this week. Continue to practise these spellings ready for a recap on Monday and our half-term spelling tests...
