Come and Meet us!

At Willowbrook we endeavour to be fully inclusive.  We value all our pupils and we celebrate everyone’s achievements and successes.  We welcome pupils from different cultural and religious backgrounds.  We believe that everyone is special and we strive to ensure that every member of our school community reaches their full potential.  No pupil is ever refused admission on grounds of their background or academic ability.  We however do have a strict admission criteria.

Willowbrook is a one form entry.

Our intake is 30 children in Foundation and Years 1-6.

School Admissions

Essex County Council’s policy is that children born on and between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018 would normally commence primary school in Reception in the academic year beginning in September 2022.

The primary (Reception) admission round for September 2021 will open on 08 November 2021 and the closing date is 15 January 2022. Online applications can be made from 08 November 2021 up to and including the closing date 15 January 2022.This also applies to admissions to junior schools, including transfers from infant schools.

Admissions are handled by Essex County Council and you can apply for your child's place by visiting the Admissions website and registering

Looked after children will be given first priority ahead of all other applicants.

There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admissions area. In the event of over subscription places will be allocated using the criteria in our admission arrangements document.

If you would like your child to attend our school, we strongly recommend that you visit the school for a tour and informal chat with the Headteacher or Deputy Head.  We look forward to welcoming you and working with you.
